At PodHome, we back our homes with confidence you can rely on. Our warranties are designed to protect your investment and give you long-term peace of mind.
📜 Structural Warranty Coverage
We offer:
- 10-Year Structural Warranty — covers the core load-bearing container frame and main structure under normal use.
- 5-Year Corrosion Warranty — guards against significant corrosion perforation when routine maintenance is followed.
This warranty applies from the date of delivery or commissioning (whichever is earlier).
🛠 What’s Covered
Your warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues that affect the structure’s integrity, including:
- Main steel container frame and structural members
- Load-bearing welds and connections
- Structural frame deformation not caused by misuse
❗ What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not apply to:
- Paint, surface rust, finishes, sealants, adhesives or cosmetics
- Doors, windows, fixtures, plumbing, electrical parts, appliances
- Flooring, cabinetry, glass, HVAC, decorative elements
- Damage from extreme events (storms, fire, earthquakes, flooding)
- Site conditions like soil movement, standing water, foundation issues
- Modifications or misuse beyond standard residential use
👤 Customer Responsibilities
To keep your warranty valid, you must:
- Place the home on a proper stable foundation per our guidelines
- No structural alterations
- Perform routine maintenance, including rust prevention and drainage management
- Inspect at least once every 6 months
📝 How to Make a Warranty Claim
To raise a warranty issue:
- Email or WhatsApp us with: order number, site address, issue description, and photos/videos
- We may schedule an inspection at the site
- We will confirm coverage and plan repairs or corrective solutions
If covered, we will repair or replace the affected structural component at no cost for parts and labour.
